Bible Verses on Conditional Election

For a few hundred years now there has been a debate over the nature of salvation. Conditional or Unconditional Election asks this question: is salvation something that happens to us, or is it something that we have a role in. Now, we know that salvation is the completed work of Christ on the cross, and there is nothing that can be done to add to or take away from the salvation that Jesus has provided. It is done, just like Jesus said it is. The question is do we have any role in accepting it? My personal answer is yes, but there are many who say no, that salvation is something that God does to us. My personal opinion is that salvation is something provided for us, but that it is contingent on two things for us to accept it: belief or faith, and repentance. Below is a list of verses that support my view.
All these verses seem to have this “if this, then salvation”. Now, this does not mean that we work for our salvation. To believe so would be an affront to God and the salvation that he provided. All this means is that the Salvation of Jesus Christ the Messiah must be accepted, and that is done by believing He is who He said he is, the one and only son of God who died on a cross and rose from death on the third day, and by repenting of our sin.
